Dear Bruce:
I wanted to write a letter to thank you for the wonderful gift of
health you have brought to me and the other residents of Great Falls
Health Care Center.
My life has been a struggle, my mother died when I was 13 months old.
A father consumed by a drug addiction raised me. I went on to repeat
the patterns of desperation and self-destruction.
Having street smarts and intelligence opened the door to a lucrative
world of drug trade. I was living a fast life, fur coats, fancy cars
and many material pleasures.
After being incarcerated, my health declined dramatically. I slipped
into a Coma on July 26, 2003 at the Bergen County Correctional Facility.
I woke three weeks later to find I was a quadriplegic, unable to feel
or move my limbs. Not being able to even lift a spoon to feed myself
I asked for God’s help.
I started reading, something I hadn’t done to often in my life.
My first book was the Bible. I proceeded to grab every book in sight,
especially those about health and wellness
I was told I would never regain use of my limbs. I mustered the strength
to transfer here to Great Falls and with my courage, spiritual beliefs
and your Yomenco programming I am making miracles happen.
I have actually been moving my upper body and now the lower body as
well. Your exercises in your book have been very helpful. Each day
I challenge myself to go further. I especially liked your suggestions
about laughing at the absurdity of our life situation. Only God could
design such an innovative lesson-plan.
I know someday I will be walking again and I intend to show my gratitude
by helping others find their inner strength.
Sincere regards,
Rhonda Gibson

Bruce exercise is what keeps me feeling young. You remind me of Jack
Lalanne. I used to attend his classes when he was first starting out.
I think you are going to be very successful because your program is
perfect for seniors and there plenty of us

I am a retired schoolteacher. I taught in St. Lucia my country of
origin. I have always been an independent person and was always caring
for everybody else. Then I had a stroke caused by diabetes that put
me into a Coma. People were all around me in white. I didn’t
know what happened. I have recovered the use of my upper body and
can move my feet but am unable to take care of myself. I also suffer
from pretty severe arthritis. I love the Yomenco class because it
lifts depression and helps me to forget my problems. The meditation
is also excellent in that it helps me to relax and clear my mind.
I am a very spiritual person, and believe God keeps me strong. I think
the hardships make us stronger.
